Sable&Hawkes are an old fashioned full service graphic design agency. Yes we do all the other stuff but at our heart we do graphic design. That is we deliver creative marketing communication materials for our clients – all those that you would expect, logos, brochures, fliers, advertising, websites, exhibitions and signage, all with industry leading customer service and project management. And this is our graphic design process – the one that guarantees you the highest quality products delivered on time and not a penny more than your budget:
Step 1 – Set-up. A good old fashioned chat. If you already have a design brief that’s great, if not don’t worry, we’ll work on that together. This stage we will discuss and agree what you want to achieve, the deliverables, how long we have and the budget.
Step 2 – Research. Target audience, competitors, benchmark brands and any other stuff you like, don’t like or we think is relevant. By creating mood boards and collecting visual guides and inspiration we are beginning to think about concepts and possible design directions.
Step 3 – Concepts. Our thinking at its broadest. The stage where we trial run ideas and explore creative applications. This is the what if stage, making suggestions, listening to your feedback and refining the idea until you are happy to sign off the overall design direction.
Step 4 – Production. Whether it’s proof amends for a new brochure, re-cutting the curves on your new logo, polishing the new ad campaign copy or populating the new website, each element of the deliverable is crafted until you are happy and the product is signed off.
Step 5 – Delivery. Of all the elements and anything else you may need, time, advice, just being around, to successfully launch the project.
